The world of music of the 20th Century saw the entry of light and ambient music with Afro-American jazz. Originally from the southern USA, jazz music is a mixture of African and European music. It includes the use of blue notes, improvisation, syncopation and swing notes.
Jazz was the first time in relation to the music of Chicago in the early 20th Century used. He has in several other subgenres such as New Orleans Dixieland, big band-style swing, bebop, jazz, Afro-Cuban jazz, Brazilian, jazz-rock fusion, and the more recent acid jazz developed.
The Kingdom of the jazz music was and especially with the black American community. The transition from black musicians banjos and tambourines learned to play European instruments like the violin. Black slaves in America, already used to sing and play music as a form of spiritual or ritualistic hymns.
After the liberation of the employment opportunities for very black slaves as segregation laws were still in force were limited. Most of these black slaves found themselves in the entertainment industry as pianists and instrumentalists. They have been leaders in low-income countries as a singer, vaudeville players, piano bar and marching band members. Soon spread this kind of jazz, called “Ragtime Jazz in the southern United States to other areas in the cities in western and northern United States.
Ragtime jazz became very popular in the early century. Musician Jelly Roll Morton published the first jazz arrangement in printed form in 1915 with Jelly Roll Blues. Print this arrangement, a new generation of musicians, ragtime has created. Ragtime music moved from red-light district and vaudeville performances of major concert halls such as Carnegie Hall.
The first jazz recording was in 1913 by the Society Orchestra, the first black group with a record emerge recorded. Another group that is with her own jazz recordings of the Rose “Original Dixieland Jazz Band.” Other bands followed, releasing jazz recordings since 1917. In 1922, the decade’s most famous singers of the blues, Bessie Smith, has also released his first record. Also in 1920, Jelly Roll Morton played with the Kings of New Orleans Rhythm and history as the first collaborative mixed-race registration. Big bands like those of Fletcher Henderson, Duke Ellington and Earl Hines played the most important places and paved the way for the development of big band jazz-swing style.
Louis Armstrong, trumpeter, conductor and singer, who is known as an ambassador of jazz, what with its innovations in the early jazz music. Swing music is regarded as the popular dance music and arrangements of notes. Then came the bebop which focuses more on small groups and simple rules.
Over the years jazz music has always enjoyed music genre among those who were light and easy listening too. There are radio stations that play only jazz music. Jazz can be heard everywhere, most hotel lounges, salons, concert halls, weddings, Jazz music is perhaps the most unique music, no two performances of jazz music is always the same.
